The idea for SoccerTools.com started with a simple Google search for "adult soccer leagues." While searching for an adult soccer league to join in the Richmond, Virginia area, Brad Barrett, one of the co-founders of the site and a lifelong soccer enthusiast, discovered that no national list of US adult soccer leagues existed to aid him in his search. After doing some research, Brad realized just how limited the available resources were for soccer fans searching online for information about their favorite sport.

Brad Barrett and his friend Bill Elward, an avid soccer fan and creative force behind CastleInk.com, launched SoccerTools.com in early January 2009. The goal for the site is to establish SoccerTools.com as the premier source of soccer information on the internet.
