Adidas AdiPure Soccer Cleats

In a time when soccer cleats can tend to look more like shoes that belong in the 25th century than on a soccer pitch in the 21st, the Adidas Adipure line was created to reignite the love of more traditional soccer cleat, without sacrificing many of the improvements that have been made to soccer cleats in general over the last few decades.
The first generation of the Adidas Adipure line debuted in 2008. Crafted from Adidas' signature kangaroo leather they featured many of the same design principles that Adidas had incorporated into the soccer cleats they designed years earlier to be worn by various participants in the 1978 World Cup.
In terms of soccer cleat technology besides the fact that the whole shoe is a lot lighter than the ones that the legendary Diego Maradona wore back in 1978 and that since the introduction of the Adidas Adipure an asymmetrical lace system replaced the traditional straight one the Adidas Adipure line consists of what could truly be called throwback soccer cleats to a great extent.
If you are worried that the Adidas Adipure will slow your game down though, don't be. These are the favorite soccer cleats of both Frank Lampard and Kaka and both of them seem to do just fine in them. In fact Xabi Alonso, another Adidas Adipure aficionado has a World Cup ring having played in them last year so that should serve as a rather good endorsement.
It was originally planned that the Adidas Adipure would only ever be offered in the traditional black and white colorway but that plan quickly changed. The latest incarnation of the Adidas Adipure, the Adidas Adipure III is now offered in White/Gold, Gold/Black, Black/Sun, Blue Beauty/White, White/Black/Poppy, Black/Warning and White/Warning as well as the traditional black and white.
