Nike Total 90 Soccer Cleats

The Nike Total 90 line of soccer cleats is one of the company's most successful lines of athletic shoes in general, and certainly some of the most popular soccer cleats.
The Nike Total 90 soccer cleats are renowned and loved by many soccer players both amateur and professional for the sheer amount of technology they contain. There have been seven generations of Nike Total 90 soccer cleats , the first being the Air Zoom Total 90, followed by Air Zoom Total 90 II, Air Zoom Total 90 III, Total 90 Supremacy, Total 90 Laser, Total 90 Laser II and, most recently in 2010 , the Total 90 Laser III
When first introduced in 2007 the Nike Total 90 Laser was considered to be quite revolutionary with its concentric rubber rings – nicknamed the shot shield – featured on the top of the soccer cleats that, Nike claimed, improve accuracy, swerve and power. Considering Wayne Rooney and Fernando Torres both wear these soccer cleats onto the pitch on a regular basis those claims might very well be accurate.
The release of the updated Nike Total 90 Laser II in 2008 brought with it even more technological advancements as the “sweet spot” was enlarged and the area of exposed laces decreased.
And true to form, the new Nike Total 90 Laser III has been enhanced again. The new Nike Total 90 features new red pods designed to improve a player's available strike zone, as well as TPU fins designed to enhance both ball touch and ball control.
The Nike Total 90 Laser III debuted with a very interesting electric/green/ challenge red/black colorway that certainly raised a few eyebrows in the Premier League pitches. Additional (slightly calmer) colorways are now available including traditional black and white.
