World Cup 2010 Final Draw Seeding Pots

On 12/2/2009, FIFA announced the four "pots" for the 2010 World Cup group draw that will be held Friday 12/4/2009. Pot 1 is considered the seeded pot, and it contains the host nation (South Africa) and the seven strongest nations. Pots 2-4 were split solely on a geographical basis. Pot 2 consists of the CONCACAF and Asian qualifiers. Pot 3 consists of the African and South American qualifiers and Pot 4 is made up of the unseeded European qualifiers.
