World Cup 2010 Tickets

First sales phase now open!

Phase one of the ticket sales for the 2010 World Cup runs from February 20-March 31, 2009. Of the roughly 3 million total tickets available for the 64 World Cup 2010 matches, 740,000 will be available in phase one. This initial phase is a lottery, so you gain no advantage by signing up early. As long as your application is received by 3/31/09, you are in the lottery that will be held on April 15, 2009.

You can apply for tickets online at FIFA.com

FIFA is offering the option to purchase individual match tickets or Team Specific Tickets (TST). TST tickets give you the ability to attend every World Cup 2010 match your favorite national team competes in. If your team still has a mathematical chance of qualifying for the 2010 World Cup, you can purchase tickets in advance for their potential World Cup matches. You can purchase just their three opening group matches or you can also purchase tickets for the later rounds as part of your TST. If your team does not advance out of the group stage (matches 1-3), your tickets for the later rounds are still valid.

Let's say you bought a USA TST ticket for the seven matches up to the World Cup Final. If the USA does not advance out of the group stage, you would then follow the winner of their group to the Round of Sixteen, and then the winner of that match to the Quarter-Final, etc. This holds true no matter when your team is eliminated - if they lose the semi-final, you still have tickets to the final match.

Please check back to this page often, as we will be updating it with information on future phases and ticketing availability.
